The plant, designed with a capacity of 130,000m³ a day, was later upgraded to 260,000m³ a day. Earlier upgradations included process additions, renovation and modification of existing facilities, testing, cleaning, calibration, and maintenance. This is a significant wastewater treatment place in Dubai city because of its capacity and state-of-the-art technology. This STP ensures that Dubai is future-prepared.

Jebel Ali Sewage Treatment Plant

It is the biggest wastewater treatment plant in Dubai. This Jebel Ali sewage plant processes the collected liquid at international standards. This sewage treatment plant, which the Dubai Municipality established with full government support, opened a remote operating and control system. This was necessary due to its size and spread.
